- Added the expiration date to the customer-facing membership credential, as viewed from their Elevent account page
- When removing a customer from an order in the Box office, any ticket package tickets that had been selected (but not claimed) will be removed from the cart. This helps enforce each customer's restrictions and reduces potential mistakes by a sales agent.
- You can no longer update event details like description, cast, or image in the Schedule Wizard if you are using a pre-existing event. This is to prevent users from accidentally making more permanent changes to info about an event. You can still edit any event and make changes there.
- Membership Renewals left in a customers cart after their membership expires will now show a warning message to the customer
- Fixed a bug when refunding multiple items with mixed gifts and non-gifts
- Fixed a bug with the pagination on the Membership Customer report
- Fixed a bug in new reserved seating where ticket package tickets weren't selecting the correct tickets
- Fixed a bug in embedded ticketing widgets where button-style widgets weren't always successfully removing tickets from the cart
- Fixed a small UI bug on the Sales Tax page
- Fixed a bug related to universal vouchers that are part of a voucher bundle--each universal voucher can no longer be assigned to a customer since they are already owned as part of the bundle.
- You will now see an error message when trying to import a film from TMDB if the TMDB data is incomplete--usually this has to do with not having a runtime.
- Fixed a bug in Box Office Full Screen mode where tickets weren't showing the correct order as configured in Ticket settings.
- When configured custom Order Fields, the list of products int he dropdown will no longer be cluttered with invalid choices
What's new in Elevent
New features, improvements and fixes across the Back Office, WordPress, Salesforce and more.
Elevent WordPress Plugin v1.0.0
Major Changes
We've changed our name!
- Elevent for WordPress is now known as Elevent Event Ticketing
The Advanced Custom Fields plugin from WPEngine is no longer required. Custom fields, field groups, posts, and taxonomies are now bundled into Elevent Event Ticketing
- If you use Advanced Custom Fields and have it installed, you may find the free version is deactivated on your site. This is expected behavior as the Pro-level features in the Elevent Event Ticketing plugin override the free version of ACF. If you still want to access to any custom fields you’ve created, you should still be able to see the ACF menu.
- If you don't need to customize your own fields, you can delete the free ACF plugin, as all the Elevent fields, post_types, etc. are now handled by the Elevent Event Ticketing plugin.
- If you have ACF Pro installed already, it will not be reinstalled by the plugin and you should be able to continue to use it as usual.
- Installation and future updates to the Elevent plugin no longer contain any tasks to upload ACF updates.
Minor Changes
- Significant code refactoring
- Fixes for spacing for Gutenberg and Elementor on Elevent Date Picker
- Styling of list date buttons in default list to include ticket icon, spacing and new hover
Gift refunds now show indicators in Box Office
Gifts refunded in the Box Office now show a "Gift" badge indicator, making it clear what's being refunded was purchased as a gift. This can be critical--any gift recipient may be caught unaware their item was suddenly canceled.
You'll see these indicators in their Order History

And while refunding.

Elevent WordPress Plugin v0.7.3
- Improved the styling on the Buy Tickets button towards the bottom of the Multi-part event shortcode and block. The link in the button now inherits text color from the button, not the tag background color

- Edited showtime buttons to appear more clickable on event lists and the [elevent_showtime_list] ticketing shortcode and block

- Updated bootstrap fonts to 1.11.3 and adding bi- tag to uses. This protects the view switcher block from losing its icons on mobile views
- Fixed pagination for events to ensure syncing over 50 events per paginated request. Refactored pagination logic into a method

- Replacing DOMNodeInserted with MutationObserver
Improvements to Voucher & Extra Customer Search
We've made some quality of life improvements to the Extra Customer Search tool. This handy little tool makes it easy to find any voucher bundle, individual voucher within a bundle, universal voucher, and gift card.
This tool has a lot of uses beyond looking extras up. You can transfer vouchers, assign them to people, print, export, or tag customers in Mailchimp who have a certain voucher.
- Added the ability to search for and locate a voucher by searching for the 'redemption' code It works for any kind of voucher, including universal vouchers and vouchers in a voucher bundle.

- Added a filter to include used vouchers. Now you can research and find any vouchers that have already been used up to get something.

- This tool now shows the order code for any voucher sold or issued as part of a proper order. You can click on the order code to go right to it. You'll see them in the same column as the reference you might add to universal vouchers.

Elevent WordPress Plugin v0.7.1
- Added some spans with unique IDs to the calendar legend showtime list and calendar; this makes it easier to target and style or hide individual legend options.

Saved Orders Part 2 - Reservations
Building on what Saved Orders can do, let's explore reservations.
- You may have a visiting class or group that wants to ensure you have room for all of them on a planned arrival. And they may get a group rate
- You might need to reserve specific seats for specific board members or other VIPs, before you even approach them about payment
- You might want to compose a complex order full of an assortment of things for a specific person or organization and need to save your work in progress for a while
Saved Orders can create reservations for all of those reasons and more. This is something any skilled box office agent can do.
Just starting building a cart of just about anything. Select specific seats from the seat map, based on what's available, add ticket packages, merch, etc.

Extend the expiration date out weeks or months in the future and give it a name.
Later, when it's time to close out the reservation, just copy it back to the cart, modify, and process payment of any kind.

- Added support for API pagination of showtimes when > 50 showtimes exist for a single event.
